Fire Risk Assessment
The Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997
(amended in 2006) has put the onus on virtually all
businesses to carry out their own fire risk assessment.
Simplistically, the requirement is to assess the
likelihood of fire and its consequences for those in the
workplace and to take appropriate measures to reduce or
eliminate such risks. This is a complex and demanding
exercise consisting of planning, hazard identification,
evaluation, risk controls, monitoring and revision.
City Fire has trained operatives able to conduct the assessments swiftly and expertly allowing our customers to be compliant as well as confident in the knowledge that a safe system has been implemented.
